I have struggled with weight issues my entire life. Hope knew she had to not only work out my body but had a mind that she needed to reprogram, habits she had to change. Once I committed myself to following Hope’s workout and changed my diet habits I saw the results I had hoped for. I still struggle with my weight but when I fall off the wagon Hope see’s through my excuses and helps get me back on track. She is my toughest critic and my biggest fan. My workouts with Hope are a love hate relationship but it’s what I need. She is there after the training for me. A simple text or a call from Hope and I know to get my butt to the gym.

Going into my training sessions with Hope I had set my goal to an overall toning. It has been over a year now and I have not only toned my body but I have also acquired defined arms.

Hope’s goal is to work with you to make certain you achieve your goals. Her heart is in making your desired body attainable, she is your mirror. Hope works you hard because she wants to see you at your best.

Time is an issue for me so I want a trainer that works me out efficiently and at the same time challenges me. Hope constantly changes up my program which keeps me interested and produces results.  It’s not about sitting on a machine and counting to 12 with Hope.

It’s not that I hate the gym… it’s that I’m a 5ft tall women with little (ok zero) upper body strength—so the large, looming machines and ominous weight wall were intimidating at best.  I had conquered the elliptical, the bike and a brisk jog on the treadmill, but knew in the back of my mind that I needed to be toning and strengthening.  I saw Hope training others and thought, “she will help me do this”—and that she did.  I’m most proud of the fact that II could barely work out with the weights that look like baby rattles and now I’m lifting actual weights!  Hope “ got me” immediately and knew that my intimidation was my weakness.  Her constant encouragement and willingness to push me further than I thought I could go has provided a sense of accomplishment in my life that was missing.  I hoped for the motivation to get stronger and now I’m living it! Thanks, Hope!  Sincerely, The little engine that could.

I have been going to Hope since last spring and she has really changed my life. She helped me to reach my ultimate weight loss goal and get the toned and fit body I have always wanted. She pushes me and motivates me in such positive ways that I look forward to going to her and getting a quality workout. I love that I never get the same boring workout each time I see her. She has kept me going during times I wanted to slack off and is an overall great person. I am so glad I chose Hope as a trainer and continue to see her!

What I love about training with Hope is that our sessions go by so quickly and she never does the same thing twice! She uses a variety of equipment to give a total body workout, with cardio thrown in to boot!

I always have a feeling of accomplishment when our hour is over.

Hope is an amazing trainer! I have seen a big improvement in my strength and endurance since working with her. Friends and colleagues have commented on my improved physique, too. She kicks my ass every time I work out with her, but she is motivating, fun and strives for results!

I had been off and on spurts of going to the gym.  I had tried morning routines, evening routines, and making workout plans ahead of time, but nothing stuck beyond a couple months.  I would find excuses to skip, excuses to end early, and couldn't find time to refresh my workout plans.  Then Hope crossed my path as my spin instructor.  I jumped at the opportunity when I found out she offered personal training.

Finally!  A routine that works for me.  I needed the appointment, the obligation, no excuses, no cutting short.  All I have to do is show up and be ready to work hard to make myself and Hope proud.  I've been training and spinning weekly with Hope for just over one year.  I've lost fat, gained muscle, and along the way I've earned new body parts to show off…someday a six pack?

Hope is an outstanding mentor and a great personality, which makes it a pleasure to do the brute work she demands.  On top of all this, Hope has a knack for inspiring others even through cyberspace.  Thanks, Hope!

I have been working out with Hope for the past 2 years and she has really whipped me into shape.  I've always dreaded lifting weights and lost the motivation to do it on my own out of boredom, so I stopped for a long time.  Then, after many months of not weight training, I started seeing chicken wings flapping in the breeze, so I decided to try her as a trainer.  I've always enjoyed her spin classes, and she always pushes everyone to work to their highest potential.  Her personal training sessions were anything but boring.  She changes things up constantly so you are never doing the same exercises.  As much as I am so not a morning person, it's nice to at least be surprised with a different workout routine when I meet with her at the gym.

After about 6 weeks, I started to see the definition I once had in my upper body.  Now when I wear sleeveless shirts, people always compliment me on my defined arms, which thanks to her, I have discovered again.  I don't want to make this sound like a picnic, because it's not.  She pushes you to your personal potential and I know I'll have to work indefinitely to maintain what she's helped me to attain.

Near the end of the summer, a Facebook friend started sharing inspirational quotes from Motivate Hope Strength. I enjoyed the posts so much that I "Liked" the Facebook page and started getting my daily dose of inspiration. When Hope was in the running for "Philly's Best", I realized how close she was and I called her to schedule a consultation.

I've struggled with my weight my entire life. I'm a classic case of the girl who tried every diet and most work out fads - but never fully committed to completely changing my lifestyle. Eight years ago I weighed over 300 lbs. I'm nearly half that size now. I know how long the weight loss process takes and, at this point in my weight loss journey, I needed help. I needed to learn how to transform my lifestyle and I needed someone to keep me accountable while helping me set and achieve new goals.

I started working out with Hope exactly 12 weeks before my wedding. I had realistic expectations - I wanted to tone for my wedding day. I knew I wasn't going to drop 4 sizes in 3 months; I was more interested in putting myself on a path to a healthy lifestyle and I wanted to get started right away. Hope gave me a diet to follow along with a workout program for the days I didn't train with her.

I like Hope's honest, no-nonsense style. SImply put - if you work hard and eat properly you will see results; if you don't, you won't. On my wedding day I was down 10 lbs. but the number on the scale didn't matter as much as the confidence I felt that day. Seven weeks after my wedding, I am still working out with Hope and following her diet guidelines. Every week I am losing weight, getting stronger, becoming more toned, giving away clothes that are too big, and radiating even more self-confidence.

Hope has helped me redefine my attitude and my outlook while redefining my body. She pushes me to push myself. In September I could barely run 45 seconds on the treadmill - in April I will be running in my first 5k! I've discovered an inner strength that I didn't know existed. I'm grateful to have connected with Hope and I'm looking forward to the next challenge!
